    Craig Buske is a highly skilled litigator and corporate attorney dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs, business owners, and non-profit groups.     Jared Reams

    PARTNER

    Jared Reams is a litigator and one of Minnesota’s leading cannabis law attorneys, with years of experience advising cannabis businesses in Minnesota and elsewhere in the United States. His clients range from small start-up businesses to large Fortune 500 enterprises.

    Cannabis law changes quickly, and businesses in this space also have to navigate every other area of law that applies to them, from contracts to employment to taxes.

    Beyond his work in cannabis law, Jared has extensive experience advising clients on regulatory compliance across a range of industries. He represents clients in disputes involving government contracts, business deals, unfair competition, and intellectual property rights, both in court and before government agencies.

    Jared handles the complex regulations governing the sale and use of cannabis, hemp, and cannabinoid products (such as those containing THC or CBD), as well as related services, even as federal and state laws continue to change. He helps businesses to obtain the necessary licenses, stay compliant with operational and product rules, push back against improper law enforcement action, and put solid contracts in place to avoid future disputes. As a result of his expertise, Jared regularly teaches other lawyers in continuing legal education classes regarding cannabis law.

    Jared’s accomplishments as a trial lawyer include a landmark jury verdict of $35,740,000 in favor of a client who suffered severe burns due to a hose coupling failure on the job in Harris v. ContiTech North America, Inc. et al.

    Jared's academic achievements include graduating magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he further contributed as an adjunct professor of mock trial.
